The course of my SEO process was always explained clearly and concisely. Judd made himself available at every opportunity and on the occasions a question cropped up, it was always answered within a short period of time and was always explained in terms I could understand. I actually understood most of what you were saying and the project left me smarter than I was about SEO. Which is saying something considering the depth (or lack of) my computer skills!
As with all good introductions to a business, it came from a highly recommended referral. I came across Judd through a friend and business associate who had worked with Judd before and whose own reputation (as often happens) was put on the line by the recommendation.
The reader of this needs to know that this was all completely new to me and the concept of SEO and online marketing was completely unheard of as far as I was concerned. There was absolutely no baffling on Judd’s part, but there was a significant lack of understanding and comprehension on mine, due to my IT naivety. Judd showed a tremendous amount of patience in explaining things when my complete ‘anti nerd’ status was established (and repeatedly confirmed!). At no time did Judd get frustrated and just tried different ways of painting the picture in order to include me in the ride.
It has been an education from the start, but one where I am kept informed of things and shown what/why things are happening, but this has been done in a non patronising way and this alone has been important. Judd has adopted the ‘arm around the shoulder, let’s work together on this’ approach from the very start, even though I’ve been somebody that has said ‘just do it Judd and let me know what I owe you’. I would always recommend a friend to Judd, but I wouldn’t recommend him to an enemy, or if they were in the same business as me (which quite often go hand in hand), as this would be like the Americans giving the plans and drawings for the Atom bomb to Hitler…
